Chicken Alfredo of Sorts

This recipe is one of LPP's favorites and it is so easy!
I have modified it from the original recipe for several years now...the original had butter and I substitute chicken broth instead.
It is a terrific crockpot recipe that pleases everyone.

Jen's Crock Pot Chicken Alfredo
3- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix (Homemade works well also)
1/3 cup chicken broth.
Dump into crockpot and cook on low for 5ish hours...until chicken is done and sheds easily.
Shred chicken and add 1 - 8oz. brick of cream cheese.
Continue to cook on low until cream cheese melts.
Stir to combine.
I add enough milk to get the consistency I like...1/4 - 1/2 cup or so.
cook until heated through.
Serve over pasta...LPP likes wide egg noodles best.
