Please look past the awkward flash in the mirror as well as the splatters.
It was 5:00AM.
And a teenager's bathroom.
This little lady was dress in her 4-H uniform for the first time ever and looked so grown up it took my breath away.
We were off to work at our town annual pancakes breakfast.
This event is hosted by all the 4-H clubs in town and is a great tradition.
The kids serve drinks, clear tables and retrieve whatever the guests require. Thee older kids and parents prepared the food.
Her shift was to be an hour.
She asked if she could keep working.
And work she did.
New friends, new responsibilities, new memories.
I am trying hard not to blink.
I blinked with her brother and sister time flew past.
