A Special Day for a Special Girl

All three of our children were baptized in the same church in which Hubby and I were married.
Each of their baptisms was lovely and unique.
Prior to Sugar Plum Fairy being born, I had been able to meet and visit with a priest who was here from Britain.
Father McGagh "filled" in for our parish as needed as well as presiding over Mass in neighboring towns.
I had been working part time as a travel agent and Father would come in and sit to visit often.
He was a kind, inquisitive and spiritual man who had sparkling eyes and a great sense of humor.
When our daughter was born, we asked Father if it would be possible for him to baptize our baby.  He most kindly accepted.
We had the church to ourselves an it was very special on so many levels.
Yesterday, this same little girl received her second Sacrament...Reconciliation.
There were 72 children who had prepared for and received this beautiful gift.
Nerves were a bit on the high end as she was afraid she would forget something until the moment came to proceed.
She was all smiles and happiness as we exited the church.
I am so proud of and excited for her.
