Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix

I have been making this for years and can not find the original source...
It is written on a scratch piece of paper in my henscratch...

                       Jen's Taco Seasoning Mix

2 Tablespoons Chili Powder (I use California...not as spicy for kidnicks, but change according to your heat tolerance.
4 1/2 teaspoon paprika
3 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
3/4 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne (optional)
Combine, shake and store in a cool, dry location.
I add 2 TBL to 1 pound of ground meat.
After meat is browned, add 1/2 - 1 cup water and simmer until desire consistency.

Again, here are the comparable ingredients from pre-packaged mix.

Maltodextrin, Salt, Chili Pepper, Onion Powder, Spice, Monosodium Glutamate, Modified Corn Starch, Yellow Corn Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil With Bht Added to Protect Flavor, Silicon Dioxide Added As Anti-caking Agent, Natural Flavor.

That's awesome Jen. I've always bought the packets. But thanks to you, not any more!
