Beware

When you live in a town with a small library from which you request books, they can all come at one time!

And since they have other people requesting them, they can not be renewed.
Better get readin'!

Ha! I have that exact problem. I went and picked up two yesterday and was "warned" that they are on inter-library loan so I can't renew them. I am reading Art's Blood right now and have The Help on my list for next time. :)

I love my small town library! They bend over backwards to help us!

We have a great small town library here. The ladies there are so wonderful and will do anything to help.

Our small town library does the same exact thing. And instead of charging me for overdue books...the just call me and tell me to bring them back. Sometimes, they pull books (American Girl Books) and set them aside for my kids when they know we are coming in. When they do their discard sale, they call me and let me have a "preview" I end up buying about 30 children's books for $5. I love our little library!
