Lakefront Property

This is what we are looking at after 3 days of rain...4 inches and the "big" storm hasn't even arrived yet...supposed to rain until Wednesday or Thursday.

The slough behind our property is used for flood control along with a nearby lake...it is running full and fast.

Just a recap on the orchard in a matter of 2 weeks....

...this was December 6...

This was December 11...

...and this is December 19...

The weather seems so strange the past couple of years around my area. It seems to come in extremes of every situation.

Wow! That s a LOT of rain! We are expecting several inches of snow again, and while I do love rain (in the springtime) I will gladly take the snow in December! :)

Jen-I was thinking of you yesterday when I saw all the rain CA had gotten. I was hoping it wasn't too bad in your area. Hopefully you'll dry out good before Christmas : )

We are having the same thing here in Australia but unfortunately many farmers have lost their summer crops as a result. It is so true what they say we are a land of drought and flooding rains

Geez, it's all or nothing, right?
About the same here. But it usually leans toward the nothing part. I hope the rain has stopped and things are drying up over there.
